Finding a hose that would work with my on board propane system was quite the challenge. Winter was fast approaching and I needed an auxiliary tank to take to town and fill because while I couldn’t start my RV at the time, even if I could have, where it’s parked is kind of a pain to put it in place, and I need a spotter. My brother is letting me stay with them for the winter and I’d rather not bug him every couple weeks to help me park because I had to get propane.
I think at some point in the future I might get a new Extend a Stay Propane Kit that allows me to hook up a BBQ from my on board tank. Having options seems like a good idea.
For anyone who may be in a situation like I was and need to make their own hose, my receipt from the RV store listed the ends as a Female cylinder adapter 1and a Type 1 Acme connection.
