When it’s cold outside, or even if it just looks cold outside, it can be nice to have a bowl of soup. Whether for dinner or for lunch it doesn’t really matter, it’s just comforting, soothing, and warming to have a bowl of soup for a meal when it’s cold outside.
Soup can be healthy and nourishing too. You can make your own bone broth to use when a recipe calls for a broth or stock, and if you are careful in your choice of ingredients, meaning making sure to buy organic for example, you can not only make a comfort meal, but be comforted by the knowledge that you are eating in a way to make your body healthier, not just survive another day.
Having an Instant Pot can not only cut down your cook time, it has a way of melding flavors that is wonderful. Grandma used healthy real food in her recipes, and a lot of times she used a pressure cooker too. She may not have known she could make soups in her pressure cooker, and she likely didn’t have an electric pressure cooker, but you can bet it tasted better and was much more nourishing than a can of soup.
So, scroll these six soups and salivate. Pick the one that says “try me first”, and make grandma proud! Then, if you really enjoyed it, share your experience with others so they can try it too.

Soup number two:Instant Pot Broccoli Cheddar Soup
Broccoli cheddar soup is a thicker, more robust Keto friendly soup that can be a good substitute for a hearty potato soup, which is not so Keto friendly.

Soup number three: Beef, Cabbage and Tomato Soup
This recipe is Paleo friendly and possibly Keto friendly if you’re ready to add some tomatoes. Since the author emphasizes this is a kind of “clean out the fridge” recipe, it would seem likely you could just as easily substitute turkey for beef in this one.
Hopefully you are making your own homemade broth, but if you aren’t yet, Kettle and Fire has an excellent grass fed collegian rich broth you can use. It’s not as inexpensive as making it yourself, but it is healthier than most other off the shelf broths.

Soup number four: Whole30 Creamy Taco Soup
Who doesn’t love tacos? Well ok, maybe someone doesn’t like them, but most people love tacos. This soup is Whole 30 compliant, and is also Paleo and Keto friendly too. Yay! Also, you can make it as mild or as spicy as you like to suit your taste. You can’t go wrong with this soup.

Soup number five: Buffalo Chicken Soup
This is a hearty, thicker soup with a kick. Since not every hot sauce is equal in flavor or hotness, it seems this soups flavor could be somewhat tailored by your choice of hot sauce. A few varieties of yumminess. And if you forgot to thaw the chicken? No worries, it doesn’t matter!
This is a quick, easy, hearty soup that has the spicy buffalo wing taste without the mess.

Soup number six: Instant Pot Chicken Pho
This is another Whole 30 compliant recipe, as well as being Paleo friendly. Those on the Keto diet may be able to have this occasionally, the problem being the apple, but to each his own. Everyone is at different places at different times. Even the same person may be able to eat this at one point in their diet and not at another. Everyone has to decide for themselves.
