Today my waistline is 5 inches smaller, I feel better, and I have more hope for the future. I’ve even lost belly fat! I find that I fall into intermittent fasting by default and sometimes I have to think about eating something in the morning because I’m not trying to intermittent fast regularly right now. I punched a couple extra holes in my belt, since right now it’s the best measurement tool I have, and I’m probably going to punch a couple more. I’ve been on the first new hole for a little while now, and it’s getting to the point where I can use the last hole, but not wear it comfortably yet.
I still need to lose about 20 pounds, and I have excess skin that long periods of fasting, to stimulate autophagy, would probably be very beneficial in reducing. I would like to do more exercise other then walking because I’m actually beginning to feel like exercise is something that I can add to my life. Before I didn’t have the energy, I didn’t feel good enough, just the thought of adding exercise made me tired.
Feeling good
I am actually feeling good. It was how I felt that motivated me to start my health improvement journey beginning with intermittent fasting in June of 2019. In the past, thoughts of getting out and taking a walk in nature made me tired but now it actually sounds like something that I would enjoy.
I feel like I did when I was a teenager as far as how skinny I feel. I don’t have to grunt when I bend over to tie my shoe, or put them on and take them off. Bending over to pick something up I dropped on the ground is not it effort like it was. I don’t sit in a group of people conscious that I’m fat. When I cross my legs my top foot hangs right next to my other calf instead of sticking out of the air like a crooked board.
I’m not always moving my shirt or some other piece of clothing because it’s been bunched up because of my fat, now it just hangs normally. I have more energy to even tackle trying to write for this blog. In the past, I would work all day I get off at 3 o’clock, but because I’d go in at 630, by the time I got home I was exhausted from being on my feet all day, and all I wanted you was sit and watch a show while playing a game of solitaire. And I’d be fighting off sleep sitting in my chair by 6 or 7 o’clock o’clock in the evening.
Lost belly fat and weight loss is only part
But it’s been more than losing the weight that has made this improvement for me. I have been more mindful of the food that I eat, by reading labels and avoiding a lot of foods that I would eat in the past. And not everything we eat is even food, but that’s for another day. I have come across molecular hydrogen and carbon C 60 which have made a huge improvement on my overall health.
Because I have the energy, the focus and clarity, and the desire to help other people like me, I will be going back and telling my story and sharing the things that I have learned along the way with you. I invite you to join me and start your own journey or safari to weight loss and improved health. Health is wealth and without it there is no quality of life.
My theory has merit
I went to a naturopath recently because I have had some problems, major health problems it seemed mostly during the last year, culminating in the summer of 2021. Problems with my lymphatic system I believe were initiated by my fasting, actually because I believe that there were some toxins that we’re stored in my fat cells that got released, and my body was not passing them out of my system well enough.
I’ve been operating on that theory, the release of too many toxins potentially overloading my lymphatic systems ability to handle them effectively, with the things that I have been doing to improve my health since losing weight, and when I finally got in to see the naturopath, I was told that my theories were on the right track, and the things that I had been doing were good, and I’m actually feeling the difference, but it was nice to get confirmation from a professional. I will be having some blood work done which should give me more information and direction on improving my health further.
