Whether this is the first time you’ve heard about molecular hydrogen health benefits or you’ve been wondering should you add hydrogen water to your lifestyle, my story may help you decide.
August of 2020 I found a small lump in my neck that I pushed thinking it was a trigger point. It swole up about the size of and egg and went down in about a week. I did it a second time and it reacted the same, but when it went down it didn’t disappear like before. Now I had multiple little lumps about the lower middle part of the right side of my neck.
It must’ve been a clogged lymph node and I became concerned that my lymphatic system was not functioning properly. Do I have cancer, you know all the stuff that goes through your head.
Dementia is stress
My dad has dementia and at the end of June 2020 he had changed. He was different. I had taken them in their RV for their anniversary, I won’t go into what that kind of stress is like. So with this change in him it was harder on my mom and I started going to their house every Saturday to try to help. It is an hour drive one way and as of May 2022 I’ve been doing it for nearly two years.
My working theory at the time was that this was stress related. I think in the process my body got rid of a lot of toxins at once, likely released from my fat storage, and it was having trouble “taking out the trash”. Add the stress of that summer and things happen.
I had researched and was trying a lot of natural remedies for your lymph system, and was drinking a tea and using a tincture, but I finally realized I needed to get in and see the doctor. But I wanted to go to a naturopath because I feel they tend to cure rather than just treat symptoms. My niece had done a lot of research and found a naturopath that she chose to help her get pregnant. They had tried for five years and she finally went to get help. I’m not sure how long she saw the naturopath, maybe 6 months to a year, but I have a great niece now. I wanted to go to the same doctor trusting my nieces research.
More stress
In June 2021 I drove my parents for their anniversary on a camping trip, something fun for mom. We were camping, just up above where my nephew lived and got evacuated because of a wild fire. I’m not going to try to describe how stressful it is to try to get out of the forest with a man who has dementia, let alone thinks he’s driving. We ended up staying in my nephews yard. That was probably the worst that I’ve seen my dad flip out.
It had an effect on me. That night it started feeling like I was having acid reflux, I don’t know if that accurate, but it felt like people describe. I have had something similar on occasion and usually I can drink a little water and I’m fine. But this night it wasn’t helping so my mom gave me oregano oil, which apparently always helps yet it didn’t. By the next day it was slowly getting worse and worse until I finally felt like my chest was burning.
By the early afternoon, I was laying on the bed with the heating pad on my chest. I had noticed that the lumps on my neck seem to move down toward somewhat inside the clavicle bone area. I may have slept for an hour or so before I started feeling a little better. That night I slept sitting up in a chair with the heating pad on my chest and I never moved. This was a miracle because I can easily be up three more times a night to use the restroom. I didn’t end up going to the hospital, but it did light a fire to get in to see the naturopath.
Things get worse
When we got back from vacation, my first day back at work both my legs swole up half way up my thighs. I had no energy, was short of breath, and I had a cough and would occasionally gasp for air. I found out later I was having heart failure symptoms.
During the trip my mom had me looking at something that she had heard about which was hydrogen water. I learned a lot about molecular hydrogen health benefits in a short time from this guy named Greg. His story is amazing.
This video of how hydrogen water got the blood moving was stuck in my mind when I was having the heart failure symptoms.
My mom was looking at getting a machine. But I had done enough research that I wanted to get some tablets to make hydrogen water immediately. In my gut I felt that it would help me. Tablets may not be as good as the expensive machine, but they have helped me, and it was quick and cheap to get started.
Things get better
I can’t say that I felt anything happening, any difference or any better, but I quickly noticed things improving. I’d stopped gasping for air just about the time I’d fall asleep. I was sitting up with a neck pillow, and that had tapered off within a couple days. I wasn’t getting winded like I had been and after about a week of modified duty I went back to my regular work. I’ve been drinking hydrogen water morning and evening ever since.
My working theory, to which the naturopath agreed, was that the stress caused part of the lymphatic blockage to move into my chest, effecting my heart. Once I got the tablets I took one in the morning and at one night before bed. In addition to the heart symptoms, the lumps on my neck shrunk down more than they had before.

So, should you add hydrogen water to your lifestyle? Hopefully my story will at least get you looking seriously at doing so. My health has improved as a result. Yours could too.
Best,

P.S. If you’re interested in trying the same H2 tablets that helped me, you can get them here.
